Liverpool Latest Transfer List

Sofyam amarabet

Not long ago, the Lyon star seemed determined to move to a top Premier League club, with Arsenal and Liverpool the most closely linked. But like Tielemans at Leicester, the 24-year-old is close to the end of his contract and could be available at a low price as a result. He is clearly a serious talent, but whether Aouar would provide the physical presence Liverpool lacked is another matter.

João Palhinha

One of the unsung heroes of Fulham’s outstanding Premier League campaign, Palhinha is a well-known player in Liverpool’s scouting department. At the age of 27 he would have had to enter his early years, although Liverpool generally tended to focus on the younger players in making great signature sessions in important areas.

Teun Koopmeiners

A player of whom Liverpool is very aware and has been connected in recent weeks, with great joy of the Dutchman. Koopmeiners controls many boxes in terms of age (24), his physical profile and the experience he collected with Az Alkmaar, Atalanta and the Dutch national team. His versatility, in the sense that he can play as a deep or more advanced midfielder, is also attractive, but it would not be cheap because he is an important player in Bergamo.

Adrien Rabiot

If not Jude Bellingham, then who? Caicedo, Tielemans, Sofyan Ambrabat, Andren Rabiot and more... Liverpool's potential midfield January transfer signings

Another player who was forever connected to a transfer to the Premier League and someone who was one of the best artists in France during the recent World Cup. Rabiot also has a contract expiring in the summer, although Juventus would like to see him extend his stay in Turin. In April he turns 28 but he would bring a wealth of experience of the highest level to any club, in addition to his undisputed qualities.

Sophia Amrabat

One of the stars of the World Cup, the Moroccan was heavily linked with Liverpool immediately after the tournament, only for club sources to play down interest from the Reds. The 26-year-old, who plays for Fiorentina, is more of a specialist defensive midfielder than others on this list and would therefore provide steel and energy, but his price tag will only have been offset by his performances in Qatar.

Mahmoud Dahoud

Remember 2016, when Dahoud was a name every Liverpool fan was talking about? Six-and-a-half years later, the two-time Germany international is nearing the end of his contract at Borussia Dortmund after failing to truly capitalize on the potential he showed early in his career at Gladbach. As with Neuhaus, it seems unlikely that Liverpool will rekindle their interest, but they have certainly loved him once… Manu Kone

Another Bundesliga starlet, Kone plays his football with Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt, and has been linked with a move to Newcastle, among others. At 21, the Frenchman appears to have a huge future ahead of him, and his versatile skills could make him a more than attractive proposition for a club like Liverpool.

Luca Sucic

A name Liverpool have known for a few years, and one that seems destined to join the long list of players to have emerged successfully from Salzburg. Sucic is still only 20 years old, and the Croatian’s all-round game should make him a more than attractive prospect for any top club. He’s a creator and a goalscorer, rather than a destroyer, but Liverpool’s relationship with the Red Bull group is well established, and he’s a player with serious potential. Sander Bergè

Constantly linked with Liverpool last summer, the Norwegian international has been one of the best players in the league this season with Sheffield United and certainly has the quality and potential to play at a higher level. The 24-year-old would also cost nothing, although the jump from Bramall Lane to Anfield would be big enough.
