Liverpool ‘hot’ for Jude Bellingham – says Sky Sports reporter

KLOPP IS CALLING': ROMANO SAYS LIVERPOOL TO CALL SIGN

Jude Bellingham’s pursuit at Liverpool has been described as “hot” by German Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder remains one of the most sought-after players in European football with the Reds, Real Madrid and Manchester City all jostling for his services.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Plettenberg said: “BVB have no chance at this stage of keeping him, but he has a contract without a release clause, so the price is very, very high. Dortmund want between 100 and 150 millions of euros.”

Plettenberg said Jurgen Klopp was ‘pushing, pushing, pushing’ for his man but has yet to speak to Bellingham himself. However, he also claimed that people like Julian Ward have had discussions before.

Plettenberg added: “Liverpool and Bellingham are hot but they need to be clear now who is paying the money.”

Serie A wonderkid Tommaso Baldanzi dreams of playing for Liverpool

Empoli’s Italian midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi celebrates after opening the goal during the Italian Serie A football match between Inter and Empoli at Giuseppa-Meazza (San Siro) stadium on January 23, 2023 in Milan.

Empoli teenager Tommaso Baldanzi has had an exciting start to his Serie A career and there are good reasons Liverpool want to take a closer look at him.

The 19-year-old has scored four goals in his first eight league appearances for the Italian club, including the only goal in last weekend’s stunning 1-0 win over Inter Milan.
The attacking midfielder could be a cheaper alternative to Jude Bellingham, but although he has dedicated his immediate future to Empoli, he has made no secret of his admiration for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Baldanzi said: “I didn’t expect to start so strong in my first year in Serie A. I’m happy because it was a really good start. But now there’s a second part, where we have to keep doing good, both for Empoli and for myself.
“I’d like to be coached by Klopp one day. He’s a very strong coach worldwide, but I’m not thinking about it right now. I have to keep working and improving, then we’ll see what happens.

“It will remain a dream because we are at too high a level. It’s nice to play and grow at home.”

Liverpool were ‘on red alert’ for Enzo Fernandez

Liverpool’s interest in world champion Enzo Fernandez does not appear to be gone, according to a new report from Portugal.
Iberian Outlet Record claims this is starting to get worse for the Benfica star and has kept the Reds in the picture. Chelsea remain favorites to sign the Argentina international and could make a bid for Fernandez this week. But the Eagles will need convincing to part ways with a player they signed last summer and if the west London club fail in their efforts in January it could leave the door open for the Reds .

Record claims Liverpool remain ‘on alert’ for the 22-year-old and unless Chelsea activate their £103m release clause the Reds could come to the table themselves at the end of the season .
