Arsenal vs Leicester: Conformed Squad news and line-up

Arsenal must continue to recover from a dip in form that brought them perilously close to losing their lead over Manchester City. A determined and lucky Nottingham Forest side stole two points from Pep Guardiola, while Mikel Arteta oversaw a dramatic late comeback against Aston Villa.

Up next for the Gunners is the trip to the East Midlands to meet Leicester City. Arsenal have won their last three away games in Brendan Rodgers’ side, but the Foxes looked to be back to form before their defeat to Manchester United.

Arsenal are almost back to full strength, hoping Thomas Partey is ready to travel and the return of Gabriel Jesus is also nearing. Mikel Arteta has a big decision to make before a time when his team will only play seven games.

Thomas Partey could return for Arsenal to Leicester City this afternoon.

The Ghanaian midfielder has missed the last two games against Manchester City and Aston Villa with hamstring injuries but was able to attend some training sessions this week.

“He hasn’t trained much, but it looks like he’s available,” manager Mikel Arteta said on Friday. “We missed him in the last two games and we hope he comes back.”

Partey’s return would be a huge boost for Arsenal, who travel to Leicester to extend their two-point lead over City at the top of the Premier League.
