Gabriel Jesus could face problem with the squard Arteta warning

Arsenal star player is just recovering from injury and set to join the squad but Arteta has fears that Gabriel Jesus could be faced with problems.

Gabriel Jesus has returned after a long absence since the World Cup. It was a feast for the eyes of the Arsenal fan as he watched the player return to the pitch.

Arsenal met Fulham over the weekend and managed to beat them 3-0. Moreover, the appearance of Gabriel Jesus in the game was the icing on the cake for the fans. The Gunners already had the 3 points thanks to their good performance in the first half.

Arsenal have done well without Gabriel Jesus for the past few months after the player underwent surgery. Leandro Trossard is the player who played in ninth position in this game. He was the orthodox number 9 in the box and even tore Fulham apart in his role. He even received a standing ovation from traveling fans when he left and was replaced by Jesus.

Gabriel Jesus could face problems in the current Arsenal squad

Considering Arteta’s current starting line-up, it’s hard to imagine Gabriel Jesus. In fact, it will be difficult for the coach to include the Brazilian in the current attack formation. The manager also hinted in his post-match interview that Gabriel Jesus will have to regain his place in the squad. Although he said it was good to have some competition in the team. Over time, however, this could become a major problem for the Gunners.

Trossard would obviously be the odd one out of the current three strikers. Given the consistency Saka and Martinelli have shown this season. But after watching Trossard’s recent display against Fulham, it’s safe to say he managed to make an impression. And if Trossard continues to do well, Jesus could face the same problem as Manchester City.

If Arteta decides to follow in Guardiola’s footsteps on the player’s situation, Gabriel Jesus could also face deja vu here at Arsenal.

Do you think that Klopp was right pointing such issues out or he shouldn’t have said it at all? Leave your comments…
