Arsenal player sends a cryptic message’: Pandit delighted with player’s actions during international break

Herculez Gomez is delighted to see Arsenal star Folarin Balogun represent the United States men’s national team following his actions during the international break.
Folarin Balogun was first capped by the England Under-21s before the Arsenal academy product was ruled out through injury and he later played in the United States.
The 21-year-old, born in Brooklyn, is eligible to play for the USMNT but has so far repeated the colors of England’s younger age groups.

After scoring 17 goals for Ligue 1 Stade Reims this season, Balogun was reportedly hoping for some recognition from the England senior side, and more when Marcus Rashford retired through injury.

But it wasn’t to be as Balogun then flew to the United States during the international break instead of representing England Under-21 – Gareth Southgate has shared his thoughts. Maybe it’s a sign that he’s very open to representing the United States on the international stage, especially with America co-hosting the 2026 World Cup.
Either way, former USMNT forward Gomez was pretty excited, he told ESPN.
Arsenal’s own goalscoring machine is trying to become the Gunners’ own Kylian Mbappe ‘No favours’: Arsenal send transfer message regarding Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk.

“I think it’s growing (buzz around Balogun),” Gomez said. “If you tell me he’s in the youth program for England and he won’t be selected for the full program (senior side).
“Then he sends a cryptic message about wanting to go where he feels loved,” and then Marcus Rashford gets injured and you’d think he’d be drafted. It would make sense and he doesn’t and they decide not to let anyone in.

“He’s suddenly ‘mysteriously’ withdrawing from youth camp in England. And he’ll be taking a 10 hour flight across the Atlantic, over 7,000 miles and to Orlando from all places. It just so happens to be the same where the United States Men’s National Team is based. The same resort where they stay. “Where he has friends like Yunus Musah. He has friends like Bryan Reynolds. He has other friends, including Taylor Booth, I think. Timothy Weah, who isn’t there, and suddenly Anthony Hudson got in touch. Players like Matt Turner have been in contact. It looks like an official college recruiting trip.

“The ball’s in his hands. you wanna feel the love The National American Men’s Twitter came out in full force, showing him the Ov. He finds it everywhere. The signs are that this kid is enjoying himself in the United States and will most likely make a decision to go to the United States.”

WORLD CUP 2026 TICKET

Barring a major drop, if Balogun decides to represent America on soccer’s biggest stage, he will almost guarantee himself a spot at the 2026 World Cup.
Given the depth of England’s quality, not to mention Harry Kane’s record at the top, Balogun will be hard-pressed to play regularly for the Three Lions, even if he performs.

Do you think Balogun should still wait on England or join US international team? Leave your comments…

Liverpool, Arsenal are told £33m PSV ace is up for grabs as agent exit talks begins

Brazil defender Gabriel says Saka isn’t just giving opponents nightmares as the young superstar proves difficult to handle on the

Liverpool and Arsenal have had the option of signing a PSV Eindhoven striker after he started pushing for a transfer and West Ham turned them down, according to a report.

PSV started the season with a top selection with impressive players like Cody Gakpo, Xavi Simons, Ibrahim Sangare and Jarrad Branthwaite. But that core of players could be decimated early next semester. And that process has already begun. Erik ten Hag had been hoping to sign Gakpo for Manchester United amid his electric form for both PSV and the Netherlands. But Liverpool came in and stole the striker from the clutches of Man Utd.

Gakpo has moved to Anfield for an initial £35m fee, although the deal could eventually be worth £45m if certain conditions are met.
Simons was Gakpo’s accomplice in the attack on PSV. It has been suggested that he follow Gakpo to England by joining Man Utd. Earlier this month, reports in Spain showed the Red Devils scouted Simons several times.

Branthwaite is signed by Everton on the Eredivisie side. The centre-back has hinted that he could move to PSV permanently, although they may find it difficult to live up to his rating of him. Furthermore, some of Everton’s English rivals, including Man Utd and Liverpool, have started to throw admiring glances at Branthwaite.
Stay Sangare. The central midfielder cemented his long-term future at PSV last summer by signing a new five-year deal.

However, 90Min are now reporting that Sangare is gearing up for a big transfer later this year. He is ‘ready to test himself in the Premier League’ and has told PSV officials he wants to be sold.
Liverpool or Arsenal can sign rising midfielder for £33m.

Surprisingly, PSV have agreed to his demands, saying he can leave as long as his €37m (£33m) release clause is met.
To secure the potential exit, Sangare’s agent told Liverpool and Arsenal they could sign the 25-year-old as long as PSV’s rating is met. The only problem for these two clubs is that Chelsea and Tottenham are also interested in taking over Sangare.

West Ham tried to secure his signature ahead of these four teams. However, Sangare dismissed the Hammers as he believes he can shine for a side playing higher up the Premier League table.
Sangare is a smart and composed defensive midfielder who is excellent at protecting defences. He has registered more tackles per game than any other PSV player this season, averaging 2.7 according to WhoScored.

Although the Ivorian plays deep, he can also break into his team’s goalscoring charts. He has scored seven goals and provided three assists for PSV this season.
PSV manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, who has strong links with the Prem after spending five years at Man Utd, has already admitted Sangare could move on.

“Obviously he can handle [the Premier League],” Van Nistelrooy said in an interview with Voetbal International. “I challenged him because I think Ibrahim can win in England. He would also be great in Italy or Spain. “I see players there at his position now and I think Ibrahim will definitely try at that level.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool are in a strong position to beat Man Utd and Tottenham against a talented defender, according to Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.
