Despite a difficult season, Jürgen Klopp does not think of leaving Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp reveals who is responsible for Liverpool's 'crisis'

Jurgen Klopp says he feels “too responsible” to consider leaving as the Liverpool manager has firmly rejected suggestions of a shock Anfield departure.

The Reds are currently in the midst of what has been a miserable season so far, with Klopp’s men sitting 10th in the table and having 29 points from 20 games. A post-World Cup homecoming saw the Reds take just seven points from a possible 18, making hopes of a top four finish increasingly unlikely.

Klopp retains the full support of club owners Fenway Sports Group, but there have been slight rumors that the Reds boss could end his seven-year spell on Merseyside in less than a year with a new contract. Ahead of Monday night’s Merseyside derby with Everton at Anfield, the Reds boss insists he is not considering the idea as he reiterated his unwavering commitment to turn around a previously dismal campaign. “I would say I’ve had some tough times, but always at the end of my time [at my other clubs],” Klopp said. “We’ve always had difficult times at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund were probably at the beginning and at the end. So I understand people think that way, but I’m not going and I can’t go.”

Good news Liverpool 'will give Jurgen Klopp the funds he needs to rebuild this summer' after a dismal campaign...

“I have too many responsibilities and I want to and I want to fix it again. It’s a difficult moment, I don’t enjoy it, but if we can show in this difficult moment that this club is so special because we believe everything in it – or people believe in me – then we have to make it together, because when we get out of it, we will have fun again. “Maybe the tough times were a bit too long, maybe even for me. I knew it was going to be a tough season, but if we had five or six points more it still wouldn’t have been a great season, but we can talk about [qualifying” . for] the Champions League, but now we are so far away that luckily you (the media) don’t ask me anymore.

“So that makes it really difficult. But I don’t think about those things. I’m 100% committed here. When we win I feel like part of it, but when we lose I feel 100% responsible, I’ve always been like that in my life, so you can imagine how bad it is a responsibility right now and how I feel now and we will do absolutely everything to get through this and prepare for the future again in a very positive way.”'The squad's commitment is as strong as ever - no stone is being left unturned'

Klopp added: “But what we can’t change is that we lost the last game like we lost it [against Wolves] and there are tough times ahead, the players come back and the people think they’re gonna be right away are gonna change but they’ve been gone a long time we gotta stay calm and smart and do the right things and there’s a time when I get really emotional and that’s after we’ve lost the last game and then you face me, but other than that, I’m perfectly clear and I can do the job I’ve always done.

“And I have enough experience to know that we can manage because there are two things: when I left Mainz it was also a career step, so we did not succeed , I knew a lot of people were interested [Clubs] When I left Dortmund, I was really exhausted at that time and I thought something had to be changed, blah blah blah, and it’s time to do something different. “I’m neither at the moment, I’m all here, but I understand when people say oh seven years there, seven years there, but that has nothing to do with it. The situation is difficult for d other reasons, but that’s not one of them.”
