Liverpool to lose 'British jewel' as 'galactic' €270m transfer to rival 'gets closer'
Liverpool will reportedly miss Jude Bellingham as Spanish giants Real Madrid move closer to signing him in a €270m deal.
The Reds have spent the last few months planning a deal for Bellingham but have always faced an uphill task by signing him for some of the biggest sides in the world.
Bellingham is the prom beauty heading into summer as the 19-year-old is one of the best young players in the world.
The midfielder is a special talent and has captained Dortmund several times this season. He also played a starring role for England at last year’s World Cup in Qatar. Liverpool have identified him as their primary target as they aim to freshen up their midfield this summer.
But Real Madrid, Man City and Chelsea were among the teams that challenged Liverpool for his services.
The report claims that Real Madrid are ‘closer to completing the signing’. They “have been following him for months” and “are now preparing to launch a galactic offering”.
It is stated that the initial fee for Bellingham will be €100m plus €20m in add-ons. 15 million euros go to the agents, and the player’s salary for six seasons is 135 million euros.
As a reader, you’ll probably be as bored hearing about Bellingham’s future as I’m writing about it.
They’re not exactly a reliable source and they may be a bit premature in assuming that Bellingham is anything but a done deal on Real Madrid.

Many conflicting reports are emerging about Bellingham, with the Spanish media unsurprisingly believing that Real Madrid are Liverpool favourites.
But a few weeks ago it was hinted that Bellingham had decided to join Man City. With transfer sagas like this, you don’t know who to believe until Fabrizio Romano gives him the ‘let’s go’ treatment.
But it is certain that any club interested in Bellingham would be lucky to have him and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made it clear he is an admirer of the teenager.
“Jude is a great player that we obviously know. We’d be stupid if we didn’t have it on screen.
