Real Madrid planning bid for Man City superstar Erling Haaland alongside Jude Bellingham

It was so unexpected when it was said that Real Madrid was planning bid for Man City superstar Erling Haaland alongside Jude Bellingham. What a combination that will be as the duo had once played together as teammate.

Real Madrid have reportedly been aiming to sign both Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham this summer.
Los Blancos are keen to bring new young stars to their already talented squad.

Bellingham seem to be one of the most exciting prospects in football.

Bellingham is a player who has attracted interest from Europe’s elite clubs, with Liverpool and Manchester City having strong links.

However, the Independent reports that Madrid believe they are the favorites to sign the 19-year-old from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The club have already held talks with his squad over a potential transfer, with the midfielder brilliant for both his club and England. In addition to Bellingham, Real Madrid are targeting Haaland as a replacement for Karim Benzema.

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappé was once the club’s main target and president Florentino Perez wanted to sign him and Haaland together.
However, Mbappé decided to stay in Paris last summer, a decision which has caused tension between him and the Spanish side.

Haaland has proven to be a prolific goalscorer for City

As a result, Perez is looking to test the waters with City against their striker Haaland, who has scored 33 goals so far this season.

The Norwegian is happy at the Etihad Stadium, but it’s clear he’s not the type of player to stay at a club for long. Madrid also believe they can use City’s uncertain future stemming from their alleged Premier League breaches to persuade a move.
Madrid could also see a personnel change in terms of manager as Carlo Ancelotti could leave at the end of the season.

The Champions League holders are second in La Liga, nine points behind their rivals Barcelona.
